Self-Portrait

An only child, I was born on November 15, 1982.

I recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Library Science. I’m taking a well deserved year off from school and then I’ll return to work on my Doctorate in Fall of 2009. My ultimate career goal is to be a researcher – not quite sure in which field yet.

I live with my cat Jynx and two Beta fish – Blue Boy and Baby, who share separate sides of an aquarium. I might try my hand at mating them one day.

My parents are deceased. A drunk driver saw to that 3 years ago. Needless to say, I am strongly opposed to drunk driving. I don’t sport the bumper sticker on my car or attend the meetings, but I will take keys from my friends if they drink too much.

I play a fair classical piano and decent jazz piano. Classical, Opera, and Jazz are by far, my favorite kinds of music, but I listen to Rock too. No Country or Rap – thank you very much.

I am addicted to old black and white movies and mystery books.

A bit of an amateur photographer, I carry my Cannon camera just about every place I go – you never know when a good picture will pop up.

Those are the highlights of my life.
